The short answer
Rohini Mundra Private Coaching ranks first of eight for founders and senior professionals who choose and pay for their own coach. None of the firms publishes a coaching fee, so ask for the total price, session count, tax treatment and payment schedule in writing. Buy a named coach, not a brand.

- States he trained for the ICF Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential at Academy For Coaches
- Gravitas Quotient covers six pillars: Confidence, Discipline, Equanimity, Influence, Thankfulness and Elevation
- Works in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai
Limitations
- States training towards PCC rather than holding it, so check the ICF finder

Strengths
- Credentialed PCC by ICF, as stated
- Over 4,000 coaching hours across more than 100 clients
- Ten years as an executive coach, with C-suite clients
Limitations

- Hours and clients are self-stated, so ask for a reference from a leader at your level
CoachCEO

- Serves
- SVPs to MDs, GMs, business unit heads
- Engagement shape
- Free first consultation, then engagement
- Method
- MGSCC with 360-degree feedback, DiSC, Hogan

It uses 360-degree feedback, DiSC and Hogan assessments, alongside emotional intelligence and Belbin team-role tools.
Strengths
- The first consultation is free
- Serves senior vice presidents, vice presidents, general managers, country directors, managing directors and business unit heads
- Uses 360-degree feedback, DiSC, Hogan, emotional intelligence and Belbin tools
Limitations
- ICF credential level is not named, so check the finder

- Serves individuals, sponsored employees and companies
- Progress is reviewed directly with stakeholders
Limitations
- Colleagues are part of the work by design, so you must be comfortable with that before signing

- Serves
- CEOs, CXOs, scaling founders
- Engagement shape
- 3, 6 or 12 months, panel-matched
- Method
- ICF and Hogan-credentialed panel
- Standout
- English and Hindi, in person, virtual or hybrid
Excellential delivers coaching from Bengaluru across major Indian cities, in person, virtual or hybrid, in English and Hindi. Its ICF and Hogan-credentialed panel is matched to you through a chemistry conversation before any engagement begins.
Strengths
- Models run 3 months (transition), 6 months (development) or 12 months (ongoing advisory)
- In person, virtual or hybrid, in English and Hindi
- Team coaching is also offered
Limitations
- The coach is matched from a panel, so the brand tells you little about who you will work with
- Fees come as proposals on request, so there is no price to compare in advance
ProventusHR
Mumbai firm rating behaviour change through colleagues

- Serves
- Organisations measuring behaviour change
- Engagement shape
- 9 to 18 months
- Method
- Marshall Goldsmith method, 360-degree feedback
- Standout
- Over 100 organisations served

- Works with over 100 organisations
- Measures change through 360-degree feedback
- Uses the Marshall Goldsmith method
Limitations
- Engagements run 9 to 18 months, the longest commitment among those compared
- Colleagues rate the change by design, so confirm who sees what before you sign

- Serves
- Large organisations buying at scale
- Engagement shape
- 6 to 12 months
- Method
- Hogan and 360-degree feedback assessments
- Standout

Strengths
- Network of over 2,500 certified coaches
- Executive coaching anchored in Hogan and 360-degree feedback
- Built for organisations buying at scale
Limitations
- With a network model the coach may not be chosen by you, so ask which coach you will work with
- Executive coaching runs 6 to 12 months, so the commitment is long
How to choose
- 1
Check the ICF credential
Look for the coach in the ICF Credentialed Coach Finder at the level claimed, or ask for proof. The finder lists credential holders who are also ICF members, so a missing name means ask, not accuse. Fail: an ICF claim with no listing and no proof. For reference, the ICF's PCC level requires 125+ hours of coaching education, 500+ hours of coaching experience and two recorded sessions. The Associate Certified Coach (ACC) level requires 60+ education hours and 100+ experience hours. Note the difference between holding a credential and training towards one. If a coach claims no ICF credential, use the hours-and-clients check instead. - 2
Know which coach you will work with
Pass: the proposal names the coach. Fail: "we will match you later." - 3
Get the total price in writing
Pass: total, session count, tax treatment and payment schedule, so you can calculate cost per session. Fail: only an hourly rate, or "it depends." - 4
Ask for hours and relevant clients
Pass: a stated number of coaching hours, and one past client at your level who will speak to you. Jay Kumar's page, for example, states over 4,000 hours across more than 100 clients. Fail: client logos only. - 5
Find out who sees what
Pass: a written note of what, if anything, goes to your employer or colleagues. Fail: an unclear answer. For a deeper test of any coaching claim, see the article Six Records That Test an Online Coaching Claim Before You Pay. - 6
Ask what happens if the match fails
Pass: a written option to pause or stop after the first sessions, with the unused fee handled. Fail: full prepayment with no exit. This is our recommendation, not an industry rule.
Key takeaways
- Our first pick is Rohini Mundra Private Coaching, for founders and senior professionals who choose and pay for their own coach. After it come Vivek Singh, Jay Kumar, CoachCEO, Apex Leadership, Excellential, ProventusHR and Right Management.
- Fees are not published, so ask for the total price, session count, tax treatment and payment schedule in writing before you commit.
- Buy a named coach, not a brand. Several firms assign a coach from a panel or network after a matching call.
- Six checks decide most of the risk: credential, named coach, written total price, evidence of hours, who sees what, and an exit clause if the match fails.
Which executive coaching firms in India are worth shortlisting?
Eight are worth shortlisting. We rank them for a founder or senior professional choosing and paying for their own coach. A company buying a multi-leader programme would weigh the same table differently. Fees are as of October 2026.
Why is Rohini Mundra Private Coaching our first pick for self-funded leaders?
We run it as one three-month arc:
- Month 1, Inner Awareness: understand your nature and quiet overthinking.
- Month 2, Soul and Karma: explore deeper patterns and find connection.
- Month 3, Living the Wisdom: apply peace in real life, under real pressure.
Sessions are personalised around your situation. For the business side we run The Heart of Business group programme, with interactive sessions and step-by-step hand-holding. We also run guided meditation sessions of 45 to 60 minutes, held virtually. You can read the background to this work on the about page. If you are unsure whether you need a mindset coach or a life coach, this scope comparison helps.
We quote after a short conversation, so ask us for the total. Call +91 7760095707 or email rohinimundra@rohinimundra.com, or start from our contact form.
Should you hire a coaching firm or a named executive coach?
Hire a named executive coach, whatever the firm. A firm sells a brand and a bench, but you will work with one person. Get that person's name, credentials and fee in writing before you pay.
Two models here assign the coach from a pool. Excellential matches you from its panel through a chemistry conversation, and Right Management works through a network of over 2,500 coaches. That is a legitimate model, but it means the brand tells you little about your coach. Individual practices such as Vivek Singh's, Jay Kumar's and ours put the coach in front of you from the first call.
If your employer is paying, also ask who receives progress information. Apex reviews progress directly with stakeholders, and ProventusHR measures change through 360-degree feedback, so colleagues are part of the process by design. This is a sensible method, but you should know it before you sign.
If your real problem is the growth of a service firm rather than your own leadership, a business coach may fit better than an executive coach. Which Business Coach Fits My Growing Service Firm? sets out how to tell the two apart.
Why can't you find executive coaching fees online, and what should you ask for?
You can't find them because providers don't publish them. Of the 11 providers whose own coaching pages we read in October 2026, none states a fee for the coaching itself. One shows two amounts, Rs 4 lacs and Rs 3 lacs, in an enquiry form at sridharlaxman.com, without saying what they cover.
That is a count of those 11 pages, not of the whole market. It does mean a quote is something you request, so make it comparable. Ask for the total price, the number of sessions, whether Goods and Services Tax (GST) is included, and the payment schedule. Then work out the cost per session: total price including tax divided by the number of sessions. Engagements also vary in length. Among the providers compared, they run from 3 months (Excellential's transition coaching, and our Private Coaching) to 18 months (ProventusHR), so compare cost per session and total duration, never a monthly figure alone.
If the engagement is for a small business rather than for you personally, set the quote against small business coaching, which covers what that kind of coaching solves and what it costs.
How many of the 11 providers name an ICF credential?
On those 11 pages, one names the ICF PCC level (Jay Kumar), two name ICF credentials without a level (CoachCEO, Excellential), two refer to ICF training or methodology (Vivek Singh trained for PCC; Apex follows the ICF core methodology), and six name no ICF credential (ProventusHR, Right Management, Coach Anand, Sridhar Laxman, Mathew Thomas, Coaching Foundation India). That is 1 + 2 + 2 + 6 = 11.
How we built this list
Fee and credential counts come from the coaching page of each of 11 providers, read in October 2026: the eight ranked here plus Coach Anand, Sridhar Laxman, Mathew Thomas and Coaching Foundation India. We excluded ranking lists, directories and certification programmes, such as Marshall Goldsmith in India, which trains coaches rather than coaching leaders. We rank by fit for a founder or senior professional paying personally; for an organisation buying for many leaders, the order would differ. Rohini Mundra publishes this page and is ranked among the providers compared.
